JANUARY: January 30: I loved seeing the musical “Fiddler on the Roof” at the John Labatt Centre. It was part of the “Broadway in London” series. MARCH: My Mom came up to London on March 3 (my sister Kathryn’s birthday) and we saw the play “The Great Gatsby” based on the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald at the [...] My mother Susan and I have an annual tradition of going to the Stratford Festival together to attend our favourite plays and musicals. On February 29, Stratford Festival offered an amazing Facebook fan deal – $29 tickets to all performances on the 29th of each month. Mom and I decided to see the musical “42nd [...] Today is April 23, 2012 – the day that is recognized as William Shakespeare’s birthday. Shakespeare’s actual birth date is unknown, but he was baptized April 26, 1564. Shakespeare died on April 23, 1616 at the age of 52. William Shakespeare is my favourite playwright.
